Uttarakhand, also known as the "Land of the Gods," is a state located in northern India. Uttarakhand is also known for its rich cultural heritage, with many local festivals and fairs celebrated throughout the year. The Kumbh Mela, one of the largest religious gatherings in the world, takes place in the city of Haridwar every 12 years.


The state is also home to several national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, including the Jim Corbett National Park, which is known for its population of Bengal tigers.
