Haryana

 Haryana is a state located in the northern region of India. It was formed in 1966 and is bordered by the states of Himachal Pradesh to the north, Punjab and Chandigarh to the west, Rajasthan to the southwest, and Uttar Pradesh and Delhi to the south.


Haryana is known for its rich cultural heritage, with several ancient sites such as the Qila Rai Pithora, an ancient fort in the city of Delhi, and the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, an annual fair that showcases traditional crafts from all over India. The state is also known for its agricultural production and is a leading producer of wheat, rice, and sugarcane.


The state's economy has seen significant growth in recent years, particularly in the areas of industry and services. Haryana is home to several automobile, engineering and electronic manufacturing industries, software companies, research and development centers, and IT parks, which are major contributors to the state's economy.



The official language of the state is Hindi and also has a significant population of speakers of Punjabi and Haryanvi.


Haryana has been working towards improving its infrastructure and education in recent years, with the establishment of new universities, medical colleges, and IT parks. The state government has also been promoting sustainable development and conservation of natural resources, including through the development of solar and wind power projects.
